Braids Dale Grazing is situated in the Perth hills town of Wooroloo on the family’s picturesque property. The stud “Braid Dales Sport Horse Stud” started in 2006 with the purchase of the Connemara mare Monahan Nougat. I originally dreamed of having my own pure and part bred Connemara stud and Nougat was to be my founding mare, after having a couple of years under saddle. In 2007 my retired eventers Starboard Sarni and Rhythm N Blues were put into foal with a Lipizzaner stallion. Then in 2008 I had the opportunity to purchase Statford Gerome, while I was looking at the time to purchase a Connemara colt, when I met Gerome I couldn’t say no he is such a gentleman and has the most beautiful temperament of any stallion I have every met. Gerome has now moved back to the East Coast were he stands at Delray Stud in Vic. In late 2014 with the purchase of Kemill Hill Peregrine, Braids Dale Grazing is back to our original aim of breeding Connemara Pure and Part Breds. Peregrines first foal Braidsdale Finnegan has met and exceeded all expectations for temperament and train ability.

Due to the February 2021 Wooroloo Bush Fires the stud side of Braids Dale is on Hiatus with Kemill Hill Peregrine currently residing in Victoria with Kilandre Stud. Peregrine is due to return to WA for 2024 Stud season. Contact details for Peregrine can be found on the CPBSA website for stud or young stock available.
